I am delighted to invite you to attend 16th Lipid and Atherosclerosis in Manchester on 7th and 8th December 2026. This symposium provides a valuable opportunity to hear from leading international experts and stay up to date with the latest advances in lipidology, cardiometabolic disease and atherosclerosis. Delegates will gain practical, evidence-based insights that can be translated directly into everyday patient care. The interactive programme also offers opportunities for discussion, knowledge exchange and professional networking with colleagues across the field.

Il Gruppo può organizzare incontri di studio e convegni, promuovere indagini, studi, rilevazioni statistiche, informazioni e produrre documentazioni relativi ai suoi campi di interesse; promuovere, sostenere e realizzare ogni iniziativa volta ad attuare lo sviluppo, la valorizzazione, l’aggiornamento ed il progresso dei Medici e degli Operatori Sanitari che si occupano della Diagnosi, Terapia delle Malattie Metaboliche, delle Malattie Rare e Prevenzione dell’Aterosclerosi e delle Tecniche Terapeutiche Extracorporee e dei farmaci innovativi per le diverse indicazioni; svolgere attività di ricerca, di formazione e di divulgazione nel settore, anche a favore dei propri soci e/o di terzi.

Multidisciplinary International Group for Hemapheresis TherapY and MEtabolic DIsorders Control, hereinafter referred to as MIGHTY MEDIC, is an international multidisciplinary scientific group including international and Italian members, both individuals and legal entities.
The Group may organize study meetings and conferences, promote surveys, studies, statistical surveys, information, and produce documentation related to its fields of interest. It may also promote, support, and implement any initiative aimed at fostering the development, enhancement, updating and progress of physicians and healthcare personnel specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic diseases, rare diseases and the prevention of atherosclerosis, as well as extracorporeal therapeutic techniques and novel drugs for various indications. It may also conduct research, training, and dissemination activities in the field, including for its members and/or third parties.
